About
t. s. mcclellan is an abstract painter, writer and recalcitrant living in Richmond, Virginia with his wife Helen. Born in Aberdine, Washington, he grew up in southern California in the sixties and early seventies before his family settled in the Bay area in 1976.
McClellan joined the Navy and traveled extensively during his fourteen years of service before deciding that his destiny lay elswhere. While still searching for that destiny, he has occupied himself by teaching himself to paint, studying eastern philosophy, and renovating old houses.
A recovering Lutheran since childhood, McClellan currently adhreres to no formal religious orthodoxy, but does ascribe to a vague sense of generic spirituality that is easy to abandon when necessary without suffering eternal consequences. He is a firm believer that Republicans are independents who were waterboarded once too often and that you should never leave home without an airtight alibi. He advocates against teaching pigs to sing, which is a waste of time and annoys the pig. He believes the same thing about Republicans and governing.
Currently employed by a large corporation performing technology support, McClellan continues his pursuit of destiny whilst moving from creative pursuit to creative pursuit. t . s. mcclellan and his wife share a 1920’s vintage bungalow with their four dogs, Petey, Gordie, Max and Winston and their cat Smartie, who claims to be a political prisoner.
