Picking Things Back Up

There are several reasons why I stopped writing for the last eighteen months, but I think none of them are very interesting. It’s also likely that none of the are even good reasons. But I did stop writing and I did have reasons.

My reasons for starting the site back up probably aren’t very good either, but sometimes a thing worth doing simply because you want to.

So, there you have it.

At the moment there are two projects pressing at me. One is the construction of the new studio. It has taken a long time for the motivation to create that space to get me past thinking about. But the new studio is coming together. Slowly, but steadily, it is coming together.

The other project is one of those that relentlessly nags at me, but it is completely frivolous and unnecessary. For the last two weeks I have been ripping every cd I own to MP3 files and storing on a hard disc devoted to my audio collection. I am almost done, and I know there is more to this project but I have no clue to what comes next — which is half the fun.
